If I were Law Roach, I’d be cursing the powers that be who decided on this particular step-and-repeat, because the details of this subjectively pretty cool and objectively very ’80s party dress get sort of lost against the black backdrop. And the detailing is cool:
It’s like she is the spider. A very fancy spider, very beautiful spider. Charlotte with a glow-up (not that Charlotte wasn’t already absolutely perfect as she was, to be clear).

It’s certainly arachnid in vibe; I am a fan of the noble spider, so this appeals to me, but I get why this entire thing might feel like it’s tilted a bit too far in the thematic direction for some folks. (It’s amusing that the composition of this photo makes it look like Spidey is about to grab her antenna. Very fresh of him!) I’d say that if anyone were to dress like a Spider, all things being equal, it should be Tom — although, in fairness, he did wear red this evening.
