In the first post about the jury, I noted that Demi Moore doesn’t really surprise me much anymore and that Ruth Negga might be the most exciting fashion prospect there. Well, shows what I know. Chloe Zhao has been amusing, Ruth has been perhaps the least intriguing, and Demi has been steadily CRACKERS — she went from standard glam, to purple cellophane, to a crinkly dramatic neck moment, to THIS. It’s from the same “The 1%” collection that yielded Sarah Paulson’s attempt at making a statement at the Met Gala. This one, they refer to as the Debutante Ball dress. It makes me laugh that this collection seems to be making fun of very rich people, while also successfully getting on the backs of said rich people.
