Listen, I’m not complaining about content and I am always happy to see celebrities wearing outfits publicly, but I do also think I could literally invent various chat-based and/or accolade-focused events using slightly incorrect or defunct publications, and people would show up. Like the 2026 Mademoiselle 30 Under 30 Mahjong Marathon Benefiting the Girls Association. Or the 2026 Movieline LineFest, honoring Vince Gilligan, who never shows up because the event isn’t real. Or the 2026 Teen People Night of 1000 Stars in Aid of the Pismo Beach Disaster Relief Fund. Surely some resourceful scammer is already on this! Celebrities, be wary!
