I am not starting rumors: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck appeared at the Kiss of the Spider Woman premiere together, because she stars in it and he is a producer. I think this is totally appropriate and right. First, he loved her enough to help make this happen for her (production began during their marriage), so it’s nice to stand by her now, even and maybe especially because they’ve since divorced. Second, relatedly, J.Lo keeps getting asked about how it feels to be working with him even after splitting up, so despite the fact that shooting wrapped two months before she filed the paperwork, it’s still all anyone wants to know and she cannot escape it. Him standing next to her, smiling, hopefully puts to bed this line of questioning. They’re cordial, it’s fine, everything is FINE (even if it’s secretly not). But honestly, if they want to hook back up again, go for it, kids. Your problem is marriage! Hook up periodically if you want to, backslide into each other twice a year, date if you must, do anything for love — just don’t do that.
