Here we have Jharrel Jerome, Jennifer Lopez, Anthony Robles (it’s his story), Judy Robles (his mom, played by J.Lo), and director William Goldenberg. Everyone looks robust and sleek and happy and great, and I’m particularly hoping Jharrel goes far into awards season because I think he and Robles together will really make for a winsome red-carpet run. Not that more J.Lo would hurt, either; I know people get tired of her, but for me, she always brings… well, herself. Where there is J.Lo, there is something to talk about, whether it’s her shoe game (dull here) or her knits (that winter white is dreamy on her) or her sheers, or her sweater-shorts. She, like UPS, delivers.
