I’ve always liked that SAG honors casts instead of giving out Best Picture. It’s apt, obviously, because it’s the actors’ union, so of course they’d look at the part of the movie that they directly impacted. But it’s neat to see new names and faces rotating into the awards circuit in a way that makes them more truly part of it. Also, not for nothing, having an entire ensemble without a weak link is HARD. Respect.
