God bless the Critics Choice people. This weekend, they had the Critics Choice Real TV Awards, for reality shows. They also have the Critics Choice TV Awards AND the Critics Choice Movie Awards, although I think they’ve smashed those together again, into a Golden Globes-y situation (which makes sense because I think they’re going to swoop into the Globes’ spot in awards season). I heart content, so I’m not complaining, but I do think we’re hitting Peak Awards Show and folks are gonna start to check out, if they haven’t already. ANYWAY, some people came to this even though it was held during the Tonys, and my takeaway is that people were mildly confused about the dress code.
