Just yesterday, Heather pointed out that it was weird that Anne hadn’t done any Mother Mary promo yet, and behold! Here she is upcoming her contractual obligations in a sort of middling Lever Couture gown (surprising, because Iris Van Herpen did costumes for the movie, and attended this screening, so you’d think she’d dress the star, and doubly surprising because this feels sort of like refried Van Herpen).
Like…it’s fine. It’s fun enough. It’s slightly cloud-like. It’s sort of like a professional gift-wrapping room gained sentience and decided to become a gown! It’s….it’ll do! Amusingly, it seems to me that Anne Promoting Devil Wears Prada has bangs, and Anne Promoting Mother Mary does not. I appreciate her helping us out like that; know your project at a glance!
