On Monday, I wrote, “I was talking to someone the other night about what topics we could speak to extemporaneously for half an hour with no warning and mine was the complicated, intertwined world of the Real Housewives and other Bravo reality programming.” (In honor of the gif accompanying this post, I could definitely also go on about the rise and fall and rise and fall again of Grey’s Anatomy.) Several of you suggested that this would be a fun chat and I agree — especially because this is a prompt I did not invent but in fact read somewhere that was built for chatting (Twitter? Reddit? I can no longer remember but I definitely did not come up with this one on my own). What topic could you launch into a half an hour lecture about with no prep?
