She had already made several of her most well-known non-Avengers films: Ghost World and Girl With a Pearl Earring and Lost in Translation. She was on the jury here but also promoting A Love Song for Bobby Long with John Travolta; there are a lot of pics of the two of them where it seemed like they were very good buddies, which I found sweet. She looks objectively great in a lot of these looks — but I do think her team at the time veered more mature with her looks than they perhaps needed to, given her actual age? Let’s discuss.
