I’m going to open this post with a housekeeping note: Because everyone wore black last night, Heather and I are breaking today’s red carpet coverage into genres of black outfits, for ease of discussion. As a blanket note, basic black really suited many of the women we saw last night; this had to have been a logistically challenging week for Hollywood’s stylists, and for the most part, they handed it with great aplomb, and a lot of TRULY EXCELLENT jewelry. Let’s tarry no more.
