One of my dumb, dumb pleasures in Fug Madness is the under-the-hood coding for the first two rounds’ jump links — the ones that take you from the top of the post to somewhere in the middle, to check the polls. You have to name your anchor points for those jumps, and I always make them goofy portmanteaus for the two people who are playing each other. This matchup would have been “Bellie” and that brought me a giggle today. Enjoy now Bellie Gouldid — Bella Hadid vs. Ellie Goulding — but don’t keep them tangled up in your head, because you can only pick one.
