Friends, I have a confession: I was truly concerned that perhaps the Kardashians, via the power of Kim’s hideous boob-strap Mugler gown, might somehow finagle their way into this finale game. I would have — of course! — respected your vote, but truly: Rita Ora’s ride to the finale felt so true and right to me this year. She’s worked for this. Like, really worked for it. Her sartorial bench is deep and varied! She tried every flavor of everything! She made it as far as the Final Four in 2013, where she actually did lose to Kim (who eventually lost to Bieber), but this is her first final game.
But will she be able to take down Dascha? Ah, Dascha! Our Cinderella story. Ne’er before has an eight seed made it this far, and she had to go through hard-hitting superstars like Rihanna, Katy Perry, and the Sisters Hadid and their Parade of Catsuits to get here. Does she have anything left in the tank to take down La Ora? Time to find out.
As a note: Because I’m seeing some confusion: These are not all the outfits these people wore this year — as is always the case in Fug Madness, I left out the stuff I thought was good! (I’m seeing people say that everything Dascha wore this year was bad, and that’s actually not the case, as you’ll see in her archives. We only include the looks in the slideshow that we felt were questionable because that is all that is pertinent to this match! Rita, if you can believe it, also wore WAY more stuff!) Carry on!
